The weekend before Halloween, Bryan and I took a little road trip to Raleigh, NC to celebrate his 30th birthday. All he wanted was to eat amazing barbecue and sample beer from breweries along our journey, which is just what we did!

On our way back home to DC, we decided to stay in Richmond for a night and drove out to Lickinghole Creek to end our brewery tour. It’s a beautiful Virginia farm with grassy fields and sunflowers (which were mostly gone in October, but I’m sure were beautiful in the summer!) and they of course have an amazing selection of beer. The weather had started to turn a bit cold that weekend, so thankfully I brought my cozy teddy bear coat from BB Dakota to keep me warm!

Lickinghole Creek is incredibly family and dog friendly, so we definitely want to go back for a day trip with Luna!
